Ranch Bungalow
Ranch bungalow is a bungalow built on a plan so as to increase the privacy accorded to the bedrooms in the house. The bedrooms are structured on one side of the house and the areas of the house that do not need privacy as much – kitchen, living/dining/family rooms and if planned, an attached garage with a through entrance to the house (if the law permits) – are on the other side.
On plots with limitations in width, the houses are typically smaller and have no more than two bedrooms in the back. The other areas of the house are in the front. Such houses are not usually described as ranch bungalows.
